This briefcase-style bag accommodates four bottles
in an insulated and segregated in-line bottle area. The area is
closed with a double zippered ‘e-speed’ style pull-open flap. In
front of the wine compartment is a large document or laptop area
- fully padded and protected; a 4” x 5” flap over pocket provides
secure no-loss storage for puller, cell or other items. The entire
back of the bag is a large open pocket for documents, sell sheets, fliers, etc.
Buckle-front briefcases carry weight through the handle to 1) an imbedded
metal or plastic bar, and then 2) to the front buckle (distorting the bag
bottom), and 3) the back of the bag. They can be difficult or cumbersome
to open. The Cellar and Estate Briefcases are designed with handles coming
through an opening in the flap. This allows the handles to be correctly fitted
to the body and strength of the bag. The flap is closed magnetically - easily
opens and folds back exposing entire bag area. The flap now also provides a
large and congruent embroidery area and has a clean, crisp and formal look.
The double zippered bottle area is simple to open - one hand - pull tab and
zippers slide open along with insulated top flap.
The design goal was simple; afford the user the ability and confidence to greet, be seated,
and when appropriate, quickly, gracefully and professionally open the bag (on the floor - with
one hand), remove and present one to four bottles of wine. No fumbling; no scooting back to
put the bag in your lap; no putting the bag on the table between you and your guests/clients.
